Another Year in the Books

One of the most difficult parts of campus ministry is that once you've invested in students, heard their stories, walked with them through the challenges of life in college, and watched them develop as disciples of Christ and ministry leaders, they leave! I'm particularly sad this year to see some students graduate that have been with me throughout my three years at UConn. The sadness is mixed with excitement though. These are students that will make an impact in God's Kingdom and lead in their churches in the years to come. With a great group of seniors on the way out, it's also daunting to think about what will come of our ministry without them. Please pray for me and all of us campus ministers, that we would trust the Lord to guide and direct our ministries, and continually be diligent in developing student leaders for God's glory.
