Explore. Connect. Grow

Every Wednesday night in June, a bunch of students gather at our house for dinner; afterwards, we gather in our living room for Bible study—over a bowl of Megan’s homemade ice cream, of course! For four weeks, we are looking at the 4-chapter story of Jonah—a story of God’s gracious pursuit of sinners. God pursues the Ninevites. God pursues Jonah. God pursues us. Not only do we have an opportunity to dive into the Scriptures and discover the grace and truth therein, RUF Bible studies are a place of connection—students connecting with God and students connecting with one another as well. Friendships are formed and strengthened here. Finally, as students spend more time in God’s word and with one another, they deepen in their affections for God, one another, and the world around them. This is what we call “spiritual growth.” Love God. Love Others. Love UVM. Explore. Connect. Grow. This is what we are doing this summer at RUF at the University of Vermont.
